Privacy policy
Last updated 21 September 2026
We collect what we need to arrange a job at your home and to check that the person arriving is who they say they are. We do not sell your data, and we do not show advertising.
This policy is issued by Multileap Solutions Private Limited as the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
If you book services
What we collect
- Your name and mobile number, to create your account and sign you in
- The address and location of each job, so the provider can find you
- Your bookings, cancellations and ratings
- For payments: the method used, the last four digits of a card or your UPI ID, and the bank. Full card numbers are handled by Razorpay and never reach us.
Who sees it
The provider assigned to your booking sees your name, the job address and your phone number, and only for that booking. Our support team can see your bookings when helping you.
If you provide services
What we collect
- Your name, mobile number, the area you work in, and your working hours
- A profile photo, shown to customers when you accept their job
- A live photo taken in the app, used to confirm your ID belongs to you
- Your photo ID, address proof and bank proof. For ID numbers, we keep only the last four digits — the full number is not stored.
- Police verification, for work inside homes or with children, elderly people or patients
- Your bank account details, to pay you
Who sees it
Your documents are seen only by our verification team. Customers see your name, photo, rating and number of jobs completed. They never see your documents, address or bank details.
Why we use your data
- To arrange, carry out and pay for bookings
- To verify providers, which is how we keep customers safe
- To prevent fraud, such as one person registering under several identities
- To meet legal obligations, including tax records
- To send you messages about your bookings. We do not send marketing unless you ask for it.
Who else receives it
- Razorpay processes payments and refunds.
- SMS providers deliver your sign-in and job codes.
- Microsoft Azure hosts our systems, in its Central India region.
- Government authorities, when the law requires us to share information.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Where it is kept
Your data is stored in India. Documents are held in private storage that is not publicly accessible, and only our verification staff can open them.
How long we keep it
- Booking and payment records: 8 years, as required for tax and accounting
- Provider verification documents: 7 years from upload
- If you ask us to close your account, we delete what we are not legally required to keep
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct it or bring it up to date
- Ask us to delete it, where we are not required by law to keep it
- Withdraw consent — though we then cannot arrange bookings for you
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to
- Complain to our grievance officer, and then to the Data Protection Board of India
To use any of these, write to help@sarvafm.in from, or quoting, your registered mobile number. We reply within 30 days.
Children
SarvaFM accounts are only for people aged 18 and over.
